Pitru Paksha is the sacred 16-day period dedicated entirely to our ancestors, making it an important time to remember our family lineage, offer prayers for departed family members and seek freedom from unresolved ancestral karmic patterns.

According to Vedic tradition, we inherit much more than our family name. We may also carry Samskaras (impressions), blessings, unresolved karmas and patterns from our lineage.

At the same time, the nine planets, known as the Navagrahas, influence different areas of our lives including health, relationships, career, prosperity, family, emotional wellbeing and spiritual growth.

Gau Seva - Cows will be fed and cared for in the name of your ancestors.

Temple Seva - A contribution will be made to a sacred temple in the name of your family and ancestors, supporting the preservation of a place of worship and spiritual practice.

Navadhanya Dhaan (Nine Grains Donation) - Each of the nine Navagrahas is traditionally associated with a specific grain. All nine sacred grains will be donated to people in need on your behalf as a Navagraha remedy, seeking relief from difficult planetary influences and greater balance across the nine planets.

100,008 Navagraha Mantra Chanting - 100,008 Navagraha mantras will be chanted on your behalf with your Sankalpa to reduce planetary obstacles, pacify challenging influences and strengthen the beneficial influences of the nine planets.

Special Pinda Tarpanam in Kashi - A special Pinda Tarpanam will be performed on the banks of the sacred Ganga in Kashi for a departed family member or friend.

The ritual will be performed with their name and your Sankalpa, offering prayers for their peace and spiritual wellbeing. A video of the Pinda Tarpanam will be sent to you after the ritual.
